8, 1.5 hour Saturday sessions at Union Point Sports Complex – Weymouth

1:15 PM-2:45 PM on 4/5, 4/12, 4/19, 4/26*, 5/3, 5/10, 5/17, 5/31

*Saturday 4/26 session will be 4:15 PM-5:45 PM

GRIT ACADEMY
Seasonal development programming open to all players and experience levels.

Open registration, no tryouts required. Athletes organized by school grade ranges and playing background, with flexibility to adjust training group fit throughout academy season for optimal development experience.

Sessions include technical fundamental skills training, tactical small game play concepts and intra program scrimmaging. Focus will be on essential fundamentals for body and ball control, passing, hitting, receiving, shooting, footwork, defensive tackling and enhancing player development in positional game roles and strategy. High-energy, high fun environment!

Athletes who try out for seasonal club teams and are not placed on rosters will be redirected to True Grit’s Academy program for continued development. True Grit Academy athletes may have the opportunity to receive roster invitations to select travel tournament opportunities.
